I made a mention on another thread about my local fish market. I stay in Bangkok Thailand, and suspect they may have one of the largest tropical fish markets anywhere. I have been to the famous one in Hong Kong, and to be honest the one in Bangkok is bigger. They sell just about every fish, plant and accessory you could imagine, and several you can't. I snapped a few pics(before my phone battery died), so thought I would post them here. I will be sure to charge my phone next time I go there(Thursday), and add some more........open to requests of any particular species?

That is amazing. If I lived anywhere remotely close to that my whole house would be filled with tanks. Makes my LFS look so pitiful....

It is like a drug, and I have a rather unhealthy addiction to it!!!

OMG. No comparison. Depending on the strain and quality. Adult 5-6 inch fish range from about 8 quid up to 40 quid for the highest grade. If you want smaller 3-4 inch fish they are about 2 quid each!

they are very expensive here. even the not so pretty ones are over £15 each

Yep, when I lived in UK, I was paying 40-60 quid just for 3 inch fish. If they are farmed locally here they are very cheap. Some of the high grade ones are imported from Malaysia, and are truly stunning.

Thursday is traders day, when all the fish farms arrive to sell to the trade. I will head down, as I need to get some plants. So will add a bunch of better pics, as Thursdays are simply amazing!
