Hi, I’m looking for advice on dosing medication for my 75-gallon (US) tank. The packaging says to use 1 ml/g from the provided scoop per 100 UK gallons, and the Amazon page includes a conversion table for US gallons, which I’ve double-checked. The chart recommends using 3/5 of the scoop or 0.6g for my 75g tank.

My question is:
  1. How precise does the dosage need to be for this medication, considering the warnings about overdosing?
  2. What’s the best way to measure 3/5 of the scoop if my scale doesn’t measure decimal grams accurately?
I’ve attached pictures of the packaging, instructions, and the scoop for reference

If your tank is 75G, the water volume is probably 65G.
If you need 3/5 of the scoop (or 0.6 scoop) per 75G, then you need half a scoop (or 0.52 scoop to be exact) per 65G.
I'd take a scoop and carefully place it on a piece of paper, then separate it in half to get half a scoop. It's not precise but it's close enough.
What you need to know is, is a scoop a level scoop or a rounded scoop?
