My LFS had one in EVERY cichlid holding tank (must be 20 or more) so we had great fun choosing the perfect specimen. Funny thing is it was Mrs. D. that really fell for a pleco, she said "they are so strange, a bit ugly and irresistible, bit like you darling" Charming!

Women love plecs, I think the saying "a face only amother could love" really does apply to plecs. They do have character though. I think I fell for the big blue eyes, I bet thats what Mrs D fell for too!!
