I recently felt like such a criminal. Brought a tank from eBay and for me to move the water I needed those big urmm petrol can looking things to carry the water with me. £10 each they wanted!!

No barcode just a sticker saying "Charge: £10" on each... soon strolled out with no care in the world

i love it when this happens my LFS does this alot i got some harlequin rasboras asked for 12 and got 17 and some other random little fry.

yeah it was harlequins I bought. There were some with bent spines and I specifically said I didn't want any duff ones, so we spent ages catching and examining individual fish until I had 6 (what I asked for). By that time 2 other fish had snook into the bag! And he didn't notice. With the discount card that meant £1 per fish, so the fish were effectively half price! Only downside is that one of the stowaways has a bent spine! guess you can't have everything eh? I'm still chuffed either way after not coming home with anything from the auction yesterday.

Maybe i shouldnt take this personally but you think you are just critisizing your LFS... this goes for most businesses!

I had a really bad day today, i found out a family member was possibly going to die and soon... at someone elses hand....

And you think i care if you got the 10 neons you paid for or 8?

I do my best day in and day out to help ungrateful *sods* in a job thats not particularly rewarding and you critisize your LFS staff! You might consider the person you would least like to meet then times it by 40 on a week day and 70-80 on a weekend!#

the... "i got a goldfish at a fair and i think it should be in a shoal so i want 5 more to go in my bowl" type of customers.

Do you realise how rare it is to have an intelligent conversation???

Then to see a post like this bragging about how people cant STEAL from a shop and just think that because people were rushed off their feet that it was a great chance and a hilarious feat to get away with it...

You wouldnt go into a resaurant and think "oh great...they're busy... lets grab food and go"

You guys just dont appreciate how much work goes into you lot! I feel sorry for P@H who get the custmers who i cant make understand that just because a goldfish lived 18 months in a bowl.... iss unexceptable.....

You ll laugh like our jobs mean nothing. You might be chuffed you saved a few pound on fish but you probably lost me a days worth of petrol to get to work (which for me is a 65 mile round trip to serve you fish). You think i live easy? you think you are the only one tight up this month or the last year?

lets keep this civil guys, i think this is/was just a bit of a light hearted post by Cazzie, MBOU. I wouldn't take it personally, i'm sure it's hard trying to get the right number of fish in a bag. Im sure she didn't stand and count the fish in the bag at the shop.
