why can't a donkey b potm? Who ever said it had to be your own pet? As far as i understand it,it only matters that you took the picture.
sounds a little fishy to me that some are complaining so much about a contest they aren't even in

First of all,my comment was not directed at any one person. Secondly,my comments weren't any more snide then yours...and thirdly,you (yes,you personally ,not a collective you) seem to have no problem dragging things out in public when it's against others This is not the first time you've done so...

But ,as I said..my comment was directed to any and all that were being petty.If the shoe fits,so be it .

I would like the mod in charge of the POTM to make a statement and clarify the rules so that those being petty,no longer have reason to do so.

I am sure that in the past many many many potm were not owned by a particular poster,but simply a pic they had taken.Perhaps I'm mistaken,but I see no rule stating that you must own the pet and that the pet must be a typically domesticated animal.

I won't post again on the subject...

But would appreciate a mod clarifying the rules so that in the future a nice thread need not be hijacked with pettiness.

it's not even alive...i could care less that it is classified as a pet by some people, there's no way it should be allowed in the competition
