Got a planted community tank (about 400 ltrs/90 Gallons):

Corys 3-line/Julia 14,
Clown Loach 5
Platys 6 rainbow/ 6 golden
Silver Molly 6
Zebra danios 12

bit mixed but they seem to work,

About 21:30 for an hour, every night, dancing lessons; they all do the clown-dance. It started with the clowns then the cory's (they even brave 3/4 of the tank height (over 1m)) started to copy and now they all started doing it, every night a dance lesson, corys, platys, and now mollys. It is hugely amusing but why at 21:30, lights are at 7:30-11, 15:00-17:50, 20:00-22:00, feeding is tetra crisps and Novo algal tabs twice daily, with bloodworm dried and live brine-shrimps once a week.

It is always good to read a success-story on the forums, but why at 21:30? It's almost like they are clubbing 1/2 hr before bedtime?

I don't see your location rmb, but we have members from all over the world here. If you are in the UK and reading a post from someone in Australia or the US the time will seem very wrong to you. All of the times you see on the forum are related to the settings you used to set up your account. If you set the time to -6 hours, like I did in the middle of the US, your clock will show a different time by 6 hours than someone in the UK.

OldMan47 have you missed the point of his post or is it just me. IDK

rmb i too have 5 clowns in my tank and they go nuts shortly before lights out at night. Swimming up and down the glass of the tank. They do this generally throughout the day with me too but at night they really come alive.

Yup mine too! They are out and about every now and then but about an hour to an hour and a half after their evening feed (so yeah, about 9:30pm!) they dance up against the glass. They go nuts in the morning when I walk in too - but probably because they know they will be fed soon!

Right now they are chilling out - they are all lined up in a neat line under the slate with their heads poking out to watch TV :D

I guess I did miss the point. I thought you were talking about people doing things at odd times.
