Its a form of valve and cam timing electronically honda's have it in their engines and it makes a crazy loud noise when you hit it at around 5200rpm kind of like a race profiled cam only its standard on most hondas and produces massive power for the engines size's

haha or as i like to put it vtec is to help those who cant race actually have a chance
