I voted for other, because I like dogs and cats equaly. dogs in my opinion are more passonate, Luther (my german shepherd) will sit with you and lick you and will always be in the mood to go ouside and play hid the tennis ball. all of the cats I have are great (except for puma, she's a fat grump) and will let you pet them, but no hugging and licking, and they deffinetly don't play fetch (except for Vanna whites cat). on thing that I like about cats over dogs is that they sit in your lap. Luther tries to do this, but a 100 pound dog leading on you the stepping around to find a good spot to sit on you is not peasurable (especialy since he walks and puts his feet in all the most "sesitive" area's). If you made me choose between my dog or cats, I could never com to a decision, I love them all to much.

i agree about 95% with FrankSlapperinni, the only part i dont is that my cat will play fetch, she might take five minutes bringing her "mouse on a string" back because she has to attack the end that isnt in her mouth, but she does bring it back. but then she growls, i think that she thinks shes half dog...

I have had cat(s), but "don't" like cats nowadays. I like dogs more.. They're intelligents, clever... It's great to go out with your pal to walk (not in rainy or cold days ), let him free and watching him running like maniac in forest.

When I graduate and have more time, Im going to take a new dog.

One of my cats could keep goal for any team, he's so good at it he brings me the ball that we use (if he walks past now his head is going to get huge!!!).
The other is a bit more reserved, but once she gets used to you, there isn't a nicer cat in the world.

I think the reason a lot of people "claim" not to like cats is that they don't give you their love easily, they make you earn it. Dogs however are less fussy (please don't take offence, any dogs who are reading this!!!) and are easier to win over.

If any of you have seen the way cats jump when they get a fright, then you know how much fun having a cat can be, my male cat is a bit paranoid and will jump 3 feet in the air (straight upwards) if you make the slightest of unexpected noises or movements, funniest thing i have ever seen.

Im going to have to say cats. Its kinda gross when a dog will eat a pile of poop and lick his but then come over and then give a big sloppy doggie kiss. On second thought, if your ugly he just might be confused

I with all those dog lovers cuz i have a very nice lab at home and cats are just mean fur balls that sit around all day waiting to be served when dogs actualy work for their treats! And cats are evil and I have a scar to prove it..those darn things freak out when the door bell rings and they come crying to u and all the thanx u get is a big scar down yout tummy

dogs on the other hand rule!!!!
