I have a dog faced puffer who is about 7 inches long and would imagine weighs about a pound. When I got him he was bright white with yellow round the mouth eyes tail and gills. He seems to have gone darker in colour and I'm worried about him. He has what looks like small bubbles on him that could be white spot and his eyes look a bit cloudy. He seems to rest a lot and then at night go a bit bezerk and come to the surface and squirt water over the tank. He seems distressed. Can anyone help? I don't want to lose him. I have added garlic to his food and vitamins too.

Colour changes are relatively common in Arothron puffers so this alone is not cause for concern. The bubbles on his skin are probably just that, bubbles. As for the behaviour, my leopard puffer is almost the same way. He's gone fron diurnal to nocturnal in a few months, and I suspect this is from aggression. He will get his own tank in a few weeks.0

So all in all, no worries.
