Does Your Betta Like Cocunut Caves?

coconut is usually sanded prior to making it a cave so not hash on the fish.
my bettas NEVER paid any mind ot thier caves or pots. i chalk it up to lots of live plants.
my old boy lays on his crypt sideways like a recliner. but they all have rock caves that they like to spend time in. never took to coconut caves...so made them into birdfeeders :)
cheers
I've never seen the sanded ones around here. Guess I could sand one myself :) The ones sold at pet stores I've been to stock the coconut caves in the reptile section.

doesnt seem like much people here prefer random objects in tanks even ones designed for aquariums, i've got a sunken ship in mine broken in half so there's 2 caves from each part of the hull, my previous betta Neko loved to hang out in them from time to time but also would chill in the plants

beware..they are pretty pricy compared with an actual coconut. its a little work to make one yourself, but more fulfilling and CHEAP!
just a thought
cheers

Yeah, I was noticing the crazy prices for the caves. $15.99 for a small one!

My boy has a terracotta pot (I have a strange, strange hatred of coconuts, even talking about them makes me cringe) he likes to rest on top of his pot, not sure he's figured out he can go inside xD
