Does This Tank Stand Diagram Look Sturdy?

I made a quick sketchup of a 55 gallon tank stand I would like to construct. I would be using 2x4's for the frame then thinner wood on the outside which would be stained to look nice. So I was wondering if anyone who might have past experience on doing this could give some constructive comments on my project. Thank you for any comments and thoughts.

Not being an engineer, I wouldn't say for sure but I would be a little concerned with a single 2x4 under the front and back center.

its all fine but i would put 2 crossbeams under the tank base mate

Im not sure why two were posted. I planned on having a 2x4 on the bottom in the middle and on top in the middle going across.

it looks ok to me. however i would add bars to stop any lateral movement of the tank, also.

When you say add bars to stop the movement you mean have something stick up on the sides of the stand around the bottom?

the joins could use some work...some good old fashioned mortise joints will make it more rigid
