Does My Moss Need A Hairnet

my moss that i bought on ebay has arrived. do i need to strap it to my slate using a hair net or cotton?

You can use either, I would go with a hairnet though, easier to make sure none escapes, if you use cotton, make sure you tie it on horizonally and vertically and even criss cross it too.

With either, make sure there is no slack so any fish/shrimp cant get stuck underneath it

The cotton thread will degrade and dissappear over time on it's own.

Hi, did this coconut cave with Christmas Moss using a hair net.....couple of months old and you can just still see the net.
