So my kribs spawn every 18 days (give or take a day or 2). Around the 18th day she was really fired up. For a couple days before hand she had been cleaning the fake coral that I have in their tank, would not really leave it. But then she had lost all of her color in her belly, would not leave the coral, ect. This has been going on for 8 odd days or so. But now she will go around the tank, and he will stay by or in the coral. She does not even want to come out and eat most of the time...? Then she would leave the coral and he would not go in there and she was getting her belly color back. Then yesterday she lost all of her color again, was thiner.....But I cant see in there.. :/ What do you guys think?

Now he will not even let her into the fake coral. He will not come out and eat, unless a chunk of flake food is within 2 inches of one of the openings. Then he goes back in the coral. Then after like 30 seconds he will come back and wait and see if he can get another piece.

Give it a day or two, if its been eight days they should just be about ready to bring the fry out if there is some, you'll soon know :)

I didn't notice my male doing any of the parenting really until the eggs hatched though, not as much as yours is anyway...

Ok, I think that it has been like 6-7 days. I will keep a eye out for fry:) I have been turning the lights off at night..

Do you normally not turn the lights out anyway? :S

When I can see the eggs, no. I will wrap them in black fabric and leave the light on. But I cant see inside there so I do not know. They both now have been kinda swimming outside. I am going to get a couple more pots to put in there. Smaller ones so she is not freakin out because the pot is so huge and eat the eggs.

O_O Turn your lights off #63###, fish need sleep to. They are probably stressed to hell with the 'endless' days (also the fabric sounds like a HUGE fire hazard). The more you disturb the tank the more likely the kribs are not to spawn/eat their young/eggs. If the female has been sitting in a cave for a few days and is not swimming around and the male/female chasing each other it is very likely that there were eggs but they were eaten.

My kribs spawned 4 days ago, I used a tank magnet to clean off the algae so I could see better into the cave to check on the eggs. After I cleaned the glass she immediately began eating the eggs.

TL;DR: Turn your lights off at night and stop fiddling with the tank.
