Does anyone know what kind of platy this is?

They're within the same genus and are able to crossbreed.

That fish in the picture at the top is really a swordtail? Or is it a platy/swordtail hybrid? Sorry, I'm a bit confused! No experience with swordtails at all beyond seeing some in the LFS now and then. It looks so much like a platy, I wouldn't have even questioned it

Ah, thank you! I haven't completely lost touch then I think I want some, even though I'm trying to reduce the number of livebearers.

I have some new-ish blue platies that dropped some fry, the fry look about 4-8 weeks now, can see a blue tint to their speckles. Will try to get a good photo and ask you for an ID sometime if that's okay. And happy Birthday again!
