It is best to seperate fry from your main tank if you want them to survive. Males and other types of fish will eat the fry especially the other male guppies so that they can ensure that their fry will be the dominant fry to survive. I have a 5 gallon that I use specifically for fry so that mine survive. Good luck!
The glass cats and the adult guppies will be some threat to the fry at first. Having the baby swordtails in the tank will help because the other fish will be used to seeing fry in the tank. A good cover of plants like java moss will go a long way to helping fry survive. I never do anything but feed this tank, do water changes and remove adult guppies to sell. The clump of java moss means a continuous supply of fry that grow to be adults.
how nice pic, will try get some of that java moss.
I havent got the catfish yet, was supposed to today, but dad being lazy as usual means we didnt go get them.
I think that my male guppy in the tank is the dad
