it would seem packing your house on your back could be challenging in an enclosed environment , with lots of hard scape for fish...I'm looking at a medium large Ivory Mystery snail that is wedged between a plastic hollow log, and the front glass... it got there itself, and may not actually be stuck, but maybe snails require "childproofing" their tanks, before adding them??? in the wild, wide open spaces abound, in and aquarium full of nooks and cranny's it may not be an ideal environment for bigger snails... besides the bladder snails, I have a half dozen rabbits, and several mystery snails... I like the bigger snails, but not if I need to keep tonging them out of tight spots... I don't always see them in my tanks, but bigger snails could do a lot of bad to your water if left dead in your tanks, I don't like that... thoughts???
I only added one to this tank, as it seems like one of my most challenging tanks for a bigger snail, I wanted to be able to keep an eye on it... it's been here for several weeks...
