Do you keep it in your bumblebe goby tanks or does it make it too hard?

They're easiest on their own or with things unlikely to steal food from them (like shrimps or snails). But they can be mixed with other fish. You just need to have a plan to allow the BBGs to feed comfortably, since that's the biggest problem people have keeping them.

Im keeping them on their own in the tank...ive jsut set it up today. I was just asing if people keep ocean rock (stuff you buy at the LFS thats white and has holes in it) with them..its not live!!!!!!!!I have access to loadsa live food btw like brine shrimp, bloodwomr tubifex etc

Sorry misread the Q. Add tufa rock or shells or whatever. It'll harden the water somewhat, and the gobies will enjoy that. They also like the little caves to hide in. But it isn't essential. BBGs live in a variety of habitats including acidic blackwater streams (in the case of some species) so they aren't picky at all. All they want is hiding places and shade. Of course, anything you add to the tank mustn't create dead spots, so arrange things so you and the filter can keep it all nice and clean.
