Do You Need To Feed Snails?

I am just about to buy another siamese fighter and a snail though previously i have had a snail and it died i think that was because the tank was clean and it couldnt eat much but i probably thought wrong. So do you have to feed it(the snail)?

As noodle said. Yes you do need to feed them things like algae wafers and vedge mine love a good bit of cucumber w8ed down with a plant strip w8. but they will eat just about anything on the bottom of your tank including plants, algae, even a dead fish if you dont catch it.

I feed mine algae wafers or shrimp pellets and they seem to like both
