Well, due to a fishy smelling freezer and fishy tasting ice cubes... my parents finally broke down and let me have a small refrigerator/freezer in my room for my fish food. :D I started wondering, do any of you have a seperate refrigerator/freezer for your fish food?

Silly me said:
nope.. do you keep that amount of frozen fish food?? I have at most two packets of frozen bloodworms in the freezer
So do I and it's pretty odourless too. What are you keeping that smells so much?

Nah, but I have my own flat so I don't suppose it would matter. I think it's a good idea though. Stops drunken people putting frozen bloodworm cubes in their drink rather than ice cubes!

I have a mini refrigerator to keep food in. Its only one of those tiny ones that holds 6 cans.... Got it free when I ordered some stuff off a website last year...

I keep frozen shrimp, frozen trigger formula (REALLY smelly), frozen brine shrimp, frozen krill, frozen squid, and I put all of their pellet food, flake food, and liquid vitamins in the fridge as well. Hmmmm... maybe it's just a saltwater fish issue. -_-

Dont have one, but I really should get 1! We've actually been thinking about it for quite some time now ... and it isnt a saltwater thing, I've got the same ;) 2xbloodworms, 2xbrine shrimp, 1xdaphnia, 1xtubifex and 1xkrill ... and all I have to feed are my community fish, puffers and gobies ... brine shrimp for gobies, bloodworms for puffers ... and the rest is food that got bought but my fish refuse to eat! :p 'Cept for my danios ofcourse, they eat everything

We have 2 full sized fridges, one upstairs in the kitchen and one in the basement that hold pop, beer, and other bevarages. The second fridge also has a little feezer that I keep the froozen food for the fishies. In that fridge I also keep meal worms for the reptiles. I was kicked out of the other freezers and upstairs fridge.
Something about being gross with the meal worms and froozen bloodworms, that you must defrost before feeding, I dunno :S

I wish I had one of those mini freezer/fridges!! That way I'd never have to leave my room... I could keep bloodworms and sodas in it! That's all you really need...
Right now my frozen bloodworms are sitting in the kitchen freezer right next to the ice cream -_-

ziplock bags work good, but tupperware works the best for me. also, if you put an open box of baking soda in the freezer it will absorb the odors. :alien:
