Do you get distracted?

Oh thank goodness!!
I'm not the only one that goes to the LFS too look at their tanks!
We have 4 pet stores here, had 5 but one shut down last summer.
When they went out of buisness they sold EVERYTHING for 50-75% OFF!!

I was there every second day, I'd spend 20-30 bucks or more and come home with bags, literally bags of supplies, I still have things, lotsa things from last summer I bought there.
Spares of everything!
As for the last 12 months, I'm in and out of the stores at least 3-4 times on the weekends and during the week I stop by now and again if I need anything.
I even go to walmart and zellers to look at their aquarium stuff, I never buy anything, I just wanna see if theres something new!

The guys at work think I have something going on with my fish, their always saying I have a fish fetish!

Same goes for movies and Tv shows, if I see one I always react to it in some way.
A few weeks ago, I was at my friends place having coffee and he puts this DVD in, starts going through the flic and finds a spot in it where theres several tanks in the scene!!! He says "I thought of you when i seen this and had to show you the next time you were here"
DANG!]

Anyways, its nice to know I'm not the only fish freak, fanatic, obsessed, in love with my tanks and fish kinda person!

I dont really Like my lfs's tanks.....I prefer petco, and other people's clean show tanks :D

There is a chinese restaurant in Edinburgh with a large marine tank, a very busy place where you have to queue for quite some time to get a table. When I went, we had to queue an extra long time as I HAD to sit next to the tank  anybody been there, its right next to Usher Hall?

I get very distracted at the LFS, no matter how much I tell myself in advance I'm going to go straight in pick something up and leave I always end up just having a quick look at the fish which turns into about an hour. I'm sure they think I'm crazy.

I also get distracted by this forum, I was supposed to leave for work an hour ago to build up some flexi but just popped on here to look for something.

I'm going now, I really am!!

I am kinda lucky in that my tank resides in my room. You know how most people get up and go back to sleep, well I get up and stare at my tank. Before I know it I have been staring for like an hour or so and realize that I am going to be late.

Also I tend to spend way, way too much time looking at the tanks at the stores, I just can't help it.

There is something magical about fish tanks, they are so dynamic, never the same. You just have to keep watching.

Have you ever thought that the fish are using some sort of hypnosis on us? I wonder what they would be after if that was the case, more food I guess.

It's good to know that I am not the only one with this "problem". :D
