Do Noisy Filters Bother Fish?

I have a small filter, labelled aquaflow 1, just set up in a 25l tank with a betta. I can't believe the racket it's making! I've taken it to pieces, all seems to be in order and working OK, but it's really loud. Is it likely to bother the fish?

I would imagine it bothers it some just for the fact it probally sends vibrations through the water. I would imagine it would be something the fish would get us to over time. I know noiser filters sure do bother me

Me too! I was going to use it in a tank on our bedside drawers. It lasted half the first night! I had to go and get a quieter one.
This is in the spare room though, so can be as noisy as it likes for us, as long as the fish is OK with it.

Fish will adapt to their surroundings. A member on here used to be in a band and they played right under the tanks in the garage. They had huge speakers powered by Amps and what not and the member said his fish were just fine and successfully spawned on multiple occasions.
