Do I need a CO2 system?

I have a 10-gal, pretty heavily planted (see avatar and sig). I just added a small airstone, and wonder if I also need some kind of CO2 system. If so, what kind/size, how do I use it, can I make one of my own, etc., etc. I really have no idea about them, I am asking bc I see alot of posts about them.

They guys and girls over in the planted section are very helpful and there are some fantastic pinned topics in there too. I'm very new to the whole planted thing myself and have always struggled to keep plants alive - let alone thriving. That's due to many factors such as nutrition, CO2, lighting etc. etc.
