Ive recently removed all plants and substrate from my 80l, thrown out the sand, and kept plants in a bucket in tank water. This is due to an outbreak of suspected columnaris. Fish are being treated and will hopefully pull through.
Will the plants survive if kept like that or not? And if not, could i plant them in my other tank, and not have the columnaris transfer to the new tank? Too much of a risk? Or do i just say sod it and throw them away? Or put the sick fish in their original tank again and just hope the plants survive? Dont know what to do

theyre in the boiler cupboard to keep at a more tropical temp. guess that wont work if they have no light to photosynthesize tho eh
