Do Ceylon Puffers Like To Hide?

I bought a Ceylon puffer and added it to a 100 gallon tank earlier today.  I had to go to class, so I left for about an hour.  When I came back I couldn't find it anywhere.  It seemed curious at first and loved playing around the bubbler.  I just wanted to know if it is hiding because it is in a new environment or if that is a typical trait of the fish.  I already love the little guy and I don't want him to just go missing.
