hi there,

got a nutrafin co2 kit, have decided to scrap the sachets they give you and use my own mixture.

i put granulated sugar 2 the first level and then 2 teaspoons of yeast, then warmwater to 2nd level, after a few hours of being put rigged up the tank seems to be a bit cloudier than usual and the bubble ladder is full of bubbles, is there 2 much co2 being released?

there is areation in the tank, in the way of the filter agitating the surface, but no air stone etc...

how many bubbles per min should i expect? did i overdo the yeast? will the cloudiness go after a while?

cheers

youve added too much yeast and its leaking into the tank.

ditch the mix and make some more, but use 3/4 of a teaspoon, and it wont leak, and do a water change

well yeast leaked into my tank, and i did nothing and it settled. but a WC tomorrow will most probably help

ok, i turned off lights 4 about 4 hours and clouidness has gone, but plenty of bubbles tho....like a whole ladder full, should i still change it?
