Ok, as much as I love my keyholes they take everything everybody said about them being the perfect community fish and throw it out the window...
It would be ok if it was only when they were spawning, because that I coudl understand... but you know what it is that makes them so disruptive? Bubbles!!!
Used to have an air pump in the tank, which I removed because of this. I can not let the filter blow bubbles. But that is fine, they are not needed..... but now.... they have found the CO2 dispenser!
It is mostly the pearl gouramis who get chased around, but some of the other fish get harrassed too...
Now, these guys are probably my favourite fish out of all the fish I have but they really are just taking away from my enjoyment of the tank because I am always worrying about how the other fish feel...
I don't know what to do. It will break my heart to take any of them in to th LFS. Do I remove the keyholes, or do I remove the gouramis?
The keyholes do have a lot more character, but the gouramis are a lot more peaceful....
