My arowana has a strange bump on his back, anyone know what it could be?

75G well established tank, I haven't tested water because my discus are fine, so ammonia and nitrates are probably zero.

I assume it’s a grow out tank. Total fish? Looks to be a tumor. @Colin_T

How long has the fish had the lump for?
How long have you had the fish for?

If the lump grew over a month or more then it's most likely a tumour.
If the lump grew over a day or two, it could be a bacterial infection.

There's no cure for a tumour and salt might help with a mild infection.
