Novice alert.......Can I keep a couple of discus in a 125ltr community tank along with tetra's, Ram's, Guppies etc...

Fish SHOULD be ok but they will need a bigger tank eventually. How many discus are you keeping?

None yet just thinking of ideas really. Just setting up a new tank...

Discus will outgrow 125L, will need more than twice that, they will also eat small tetras.... and long finned guppies are risky too....

Not to mention you dont really want to use tap water, certainly not in such a small tank, small tank = young discus = need especially clean water = needs to be RO water...

I'll stick to the tetra's then. Thanks for your help. Gourami's will be my bigger fish then.
