Haha . I know seems like the discus bug caught a few of us. I'm going on a road trip in the AM. I told my husband that we are going to check out a few fish store alog the the way. It's goigto be a fish tour of Nor Cal haha. I'm lookig for places I want to hit up tonight. If I can't find any good fish on this trip then I'm going to order some online I have a few good places to pick from. I'm excited. My 80gal is so empty.

Disco Stue is doing great he eats like a pig and his color gets better and better everyday. I read pigeons can take a little longer to color up. He is a bossy little guy. I like him so much I doing an all discus tank. Its finding good discus that is way harder then it should be around here. The LFS don't get many in the small ones they have are in bad shape. I got really lucky with Stue.


I should have more discus this week or I will order some next week. I found a few good breeders and importers online.

Your PB should get much more colorful in the 4-5 inch range.

I found a photo of a discus that looked like mine it was a Blood pigeon/ red terq mix. I'm getting ready to order 2 tefe Green a royal blue and red scribble. I'm kind of scared because I have read mixed things about this importer but most people liked
them a few did not. The prices are the best I have found and they have the exact strains I want so.... I'm going to cross my fingers and do it.

Go with your gut feeling. Most the time bad reviews are due to personal peoples problems I.E wrong pH and setup. I have read reviews of people saying the fish got ich after 3 months and crap like that. Unless you can find some really ceditable bad reviews or its a lot more bad than good I wouldn't worry to much about it
