Discus Problems

A few days ago i noticed a 'pimple' on one of my largest discus. I gathered he has just nicked himself on something. But things got worse as he kept rolling onto his side and hid away.

Today it has worsened (photo 2) so i've put him into quarentine.

But what now? I am dosing with metafix as its good for open wounds. Any idea what it is? Did i read somewhere that adding salt can help them?

I have used api salt on my gourami who was close enough to dead now he's a bully. Getting revenge. I'm guessing the salt helped him alot. Or just the rest in a tank of his own
