sorry not the best pics

Seems like you might have a parasite on your hands. Can you by any chance get a hold of a microscope? For now, increase temp. and keep adding the epsom 1 tbsp per 10 gals is correct. Do you worm your fish every few months? Definitley recommend it.

not wormed them for a good few months, think ill clean the filter out then today and worm then and add some salt

have you seen this before??

filter now done so hate that job!!!

now for the worming and salt!!

all done

Good to see. Keep up with a normal course of worming medication and don't forget the water changes!! 50-100% daily while treatment is going on will definitley help any sick fish! I would also recommend if all your fish are eating definitley give it to them orally.

tank water should be fine goin to worm them again in 7 days like it packet says
and give them a 50% water change tomorrow

kusuri

gold packet
got a pic somewhere just carnt find it

Febendazole is the main active ingredient, which is what I use to treat my fish and will knockout a broad spectrum of parasites, I believe the same ones as Metro, and then some.

How much did that stuff cost you? Angelplus makes febendazole flake, I bought 8oz of it for $7.75 USD. Pretty good price, and high quality stuff. Only thing is it takes a little while to ship (at least for me) so it may be something to order in for future use.

Here is a link if you are interested.

The Kisuri worming mad is as effective as just asking the parasites to leave IME  You may as well stop wasting time and money on it as it does not work

All the good Flubendazole based medications in the UK must be bought through a Veterinary prescription, or off the Black-market  All legal meds that claim to contain it in the UK use Flbendazole type three that does not work as it is too weak and hence why they are allowed to sell it. You need Flubendazole type 5  (or have I got the numbers the wrong way around here?)

Basically, you need to look at other worming options for the meds you use to work. I personally use Beaphar Reptile wormer, containing Levamisole, and highly recommend it, but you need an idea as to how much the fish weighs before you does it.

All the best

ive got a friend who a vet wonder if i can rob some of him !!!

i have a look at that link

discus lover so did you buy the deworming flake?
the packet cost me about 8 quid of ebay after someone recommened it to me

I'd try get your veterinary mate to sort you out some Flubenol. It's used for worming Sheep also, and most vets that deal with farm animals will have the stuff :good:
