Didnt Know It Was Possible..

I've got a 16g bow front tank

its got 8 fish in it

6 Molly's, 1 Betta and 1 Neon(i know.. only 1 neon)


I just went to feed the fish and guess what is swimming in the
back of the tank..


FRY!!


why am i questioning "didnt know it was possible"
The biggest fish Molly IS full grown..
but all of the other are nearly 1/4 of her size..

Lots of livebearing fish species can hold/retain male sperm, if you like, and have multiple births from only one mating. Whilst the smaller males along side her in your tank, sexually mature or no,t she might easily have been impregnated months previous.

the males, or who i think are the males have been chasing her around and having been "nibbling" or "kissing" her under for atleast a month now
