There! ;0)
I put a post in - yesterday, I think :dunno: ?!? - about my lonely tiger barb. Did anyone read it? Oh well, anyway, I have 4 of them - 2m, 2f. One of the females has gotten very FAT and is hanging around at the other side of the tank on her own. She is not being picked on by any of the other fish, and apart from the fact that she is lonely, she is acting normally.
Is it anything to worry about or is she just moody and not talking to anybody else at the moment? And is she just greedy or she is a roly-poly fish that I should sign up for 'Weightwatchers'?!

symptom(s)
Individual fish stay apart from others. Breathing is normal. They may refuse food. They may have "cloudy" or grey areas on the skin. There are no other physical signs

cause(s)
Lethargy and inappetence are common symptoms of many diseases, so further investigation is essential

1) Fish may be suffering from a parasite problem. Examine the gills.

2) There could be internal disease problems

3) Early stage of systemic bacterial infection. Isolate and observe

4) Test core water parameters

 Ahhh! I hope it's not a parasite problem! I don't have a spare tank - what should I do about the isolating thingy - would a jar be ok for 5 mins while I check her over? :dunno:

I'd not use a jar, perhaps a 5 gallon bucket.
but as you say just for 5 mins or so.
