I added 6 diamond tetras to my community tank....guppies are now tail-less. I have done a major change around in the tank which might have made existing inhabitants jumpy. Is it the new diamond tetras or the existing black widows or the ram? Does anyone know if diamonds are particularly nippy?

I'm not having much luck with livebearers at the moment, and just found my molly really sick. Don't know if she's trying to give birth and has problems (but I've had her 3 months or more and I have no male mollies, can they store sperm that long?) or whether she has a bad internal infection. A dwarf loach looked like it was trying to eat her alive, so she's now in a measuring jug hung in the main tank. When I netted her I ran my finger down her side lightly and a drop of clear, bright orange liquid came out of her vent...does anyone know what this could be?

And does anyone in the Midlands UK have a hospital tank i could buy with a heater? Pets at home will be open tomorrow, I can get a plastic tank for £20 but their cheapest heater is another £20.....urgh
