Dennerle Pflazengold 7 Growth Promoter

I have brought some Dennerle Pflazengold 7 Growth Promoter by mail order, but i am a little confused as it came in small capsuls much like the ones headache tablets come in for easy swallowing. The instructions dont tell you how to add to the tank, only the dosage in number of capsuls per 100 litres.

Does anyone else use them? Should I pop them open and mix with water? Just put them in as they are?
Bury them in the gravel? (If so what happens to plastic casing?

Anyone else out there used them?

I don't know that product, so did a quick google and came up with this topic
So perhaps do a bit more research on how exactly to administer. Dennerle is a very good recognised brand, so sure it's a good product. But that thread doesn't bode well.

Thanks Bloo....doesnt sound too good !
I wonder if thats because he broke the capsuls and let his fish eat the power ??
Maybe it has to slowly dissolve in the substrate?

Any one else got any clues?

(by the way I have e-mailed the supplier....if I get a response I will let you know.

Well I found it on the Dennerle website where it's acutally called "dennerle planta gold 7" - however even though I understand German - it still says nothing about dosing - so no help there I'm afraid

Went to the specialist Dennerle store today and asked for advice.

Its easy really....just add them however you like -

- Drop them in the tank and let them dissolve,
- Pop them open and drop the powder in
- or bury them in the substrate.

So I did !!! and so far no problem, and the fish dont look sick ?!?

When I asked the specialist chap he just laughed at the guy who had posted that he made his fish sick and said that if that were true there would be loads of problems posted regarding Dennerle.


We shall see!!!!
