I think you have plenty of room for a group of cories no problems, they are mainly bottom dwellers, whereas, apart from your plec, the rest are top/middle dwelling fish, you also have plenty of filtration to cope with the little extra load

You would be much better off going with 6 at once . Otherwise it could take a while to fid the same species again. It would be like buying tetras of some sort. Your tank can easily take it, the filters great and you have live plants.

Not really any cory species you are likely to run into that you should watch out for.

Make sure it's not Brochis your buying, but if your at a decent LFS, then the sign will say.

You could, personally I would go with sterbai or albino, but peppered would be fine.

Sterbai stay a little smaller, albinos max out around 3" and yes because they are my favourites, or you could have panda's, more sensitive but stay small if your worried about size.

Will six peppered corys be ok? I have read they can get to 4" so 6 of these would be 24" would that not be too much? Is there anyother type I should look for instead?

Im going to go with Stebai now I expect, have looked them up and they maybe slighty better for my tank.

Get 6 or get none IMO . With fish like corys the more the merrier, and your tank has enough room.
