I am two'ing & fro'ing between Endlers or Fancy Guppies for my first foray into fishkeeping. Endlers seem to be a lot hardier so will probably go with them.

Real endlers can be quite hard to locate. I am a breeder of wild type endlers and must agree that they are very tough fish but I also have some guppies, in another room of the house, and find they are also very tough when kept in the water I get from my tap. Either one would be a good choice for a new fish-keeper to work with. Why not decide which fish appeal to you more and simply get that kind as your first livebearers?
