Tigers are well known to be nippy but, provided they are kept in the larger shoal, all aggression should be disbursed within the group.

i just read they like some what dirty water, can be nippy at other fish, and like shallow water

Less red, but more blue/green - the stripe looks blue when looking at the fish from the side but green if you look from higher up.

my 55g that's 'in the hole' (third in line for setup, 55g cichlid is up now, and 10g guppy is 'on deck') is going to be planted will all tall grass, 2x-3x overfiltered with maybe a refuge so i can get 100 or more tetras in there. Ideally would like to get 8-10 of:
hockey stick
lemon
diamond
neon
glo light
headlight taillight
cardinal
rummy nose
pristilla
and maybe more

i prefer cardinals because of them having more red and being hardier IME but at the moment i have neons, they are both great fish IMO and look great as a mixed shoal

no i'm not mad that is just what i have experienced and have found cardinals by far to be the better fish, for me anyway
