Deadly Nightshade Flaring + Some Scribble Pics Cts

Sorry for the shoddy pictures they were taken with a nokia n95 i tried to clear them up a little but no saving them lol

When Deadly Nightshade aka Mr Happy found a conveniently placed mirror;

Today i gave him some Live bloodworms and im pretty sure the others were water flees? lol

Moral of story keep hunger locked up till lunch lol

Thanks for your comment on him i love him to bits

He was an ebay baby, I saw him and thought i wont be seeing one like him in a shop for a little while so just went on bidding

WOW great betta, he defo looks like a DTCT too me as well, lovely rich colours and he also looks like he may have the giant gene to him as his general body shape tends to point in that direction but im not sure as it could just be the angle of the shots.

I think i may have gone abit overboard on how im keeping him i think hes spoilt? lol

Hes fed with live blood worm + water flees? When hes not munching on them hes got Tetra Betta food which is meant to enhance colouring ect & on days i dont feed him this hes got peas lol

I took out his substrate the other day as its easier to clean + his water quality will be better which will ultimately make him happier which it seems to have he seems more lively

He has 3 real plants + a nice ornament he can swim through and seek cover.

Hes got nothing with sharp edges in the his tank so he doesnt damage his finnage, and nothing he can get stuck in

His water is crystal clear water changes are regular (obviously)

definitely looks like damage rather than a DT to me, in this pic you can see a greyish/clear edge that looks like regrowth to me.

I make you right tbh, i tried what you said with melafix and this is the result so he was obviously damaged in transit the poor little bugger

he might have chewed it off himself. when in those little bags without much space they get al swooshed around and sometimes end up with their tails in front of their mouths, and so instinct is that "its another male so bite!" some bettas also self-harm when stressed, but hopefully he's not one of them.

The good news is his fin should grow back

Hes awsome though love him to bits id definatly buy him again!

Hmm id like to try not to forget my community Betta scribble, Hes as placid as anything doesnt flare up even for a mirror.. wierd lol but hes two picies of him to show how he changes colour, should have called him 'chameleon'

Oh and hes a quick picy of my community tank,

They all get on fine even the Elephant nose
