Update wednesday,
checked tank after work found the possible cause whitespot .
checked my other tank and this has it as well .
So I presume I've introduced whitespot will the additions on Saturday with the Sail Fin Plec's.One in each tank
Have I got any comeback with the supplier ?

It depends if you can prove that you climatised them right, then they will probably say you already had whitespot in your tank, it will be hard, turn temp up to 30 and cover with a blanket.

You say it's in both tanks best bet is to take some pictures with a dig cam, do the tank look different and take pictures of the fish, go to the tank in the shop and check if they have whitespot, then you might stand a chance, all they probably will give you is the med money though.

The tank i've had the problems with is the worst of the two upon checking the other one tonight one or two of the fish are showing early signs of whitespot .Dosed both tanks with medication.How long would you recommend keeping the temperature at 30c ?I will take some pics and take them to the shop at the weekend.I only got the plecs because I had a bit of problem with algae in one of my tanks ,thats positioned just to close to direct sunlight.The other tank just gets a bit on the glass .So now i've infected both tanks with whitespot by doing this

update
down to just three glowlights,which have faded in colour and dont seem to be eating ,gourami,s and flying foxes seem o.k.in one tank and not lost any in other tank .
.Remaining fish showing no signs of whitespot, dosed each tank 5 times.
How long do I dose after fish showing no signs of whitespot ?
When do I put the carbon back in both filters after last dose?
How long do I keep the carbon in the filter for ?

If they are showing no spots for a few days then it probably has gone, do a 30% water cahnge add carbon to the tank would do a gravel vac at the same time as the water change, run carbon for six weeks if it's a new one don't want to waste it.

Thanks for advice,use gravel cleaner each water change.Also went back to fish supplier denied all responsibility said it was triggered by everything but the introduction of the Plecs but as a goodwill gesture they gave me a credit for £5 , not bad having lost 10 neon's & 3 glowlights.
