Dead Fish With Massive Belly...

Today when i got home i noticed my silver fox was laying upside down behind the clown loach pob.

After pulling him out of the tank i noticed his belly was massive!!!!!!! He was around a yr old but im worried that he may of died from something that has caused him to have a belly the size of a jelly bean.

Would he of been constipated? His last few days he was swimming around fine. He didnt show any signs of being sick. All though he was a different colour when he died...

What could it be?

and ive noticed in the last hr my platy is hiding up the top in a plant breathing real real fast. he gills look pink too.

could potentially have been as simple as constipation

or it could have been bloat, or Dropsy.

search the net for Dropsy and make sure it wasnt that, if it was, check all other fish for signs, remove any that show symptoms and do a 50% waterchange today and a 50% waterchange tomorrow.

Hmm....sounds like that could be the case.

i will do a water change tonightand a gravel vac.

I will remove the fish that is exhibiting signs and find somewhere to put her.
