The test went purple! Woooo!

Only a little bit, somewhere between 0 and 0.25ppm but it was a definite colour change.

So now what? Wait for eternity for the Nitrates to appear. At what point should I be considering a water change, if at all?

HIya - as far as the advice went when I was cycling - you do not need to water change at all. Unless there has been a drastic PH drop that will stall the cycle. It is advisable to wc when your tank is fully cycled to remove the high levels of Nitrate before you pop your fish in.

Well done :good:
