Dartford Aquatics....beware!

Hi I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with a company called Dartford Aquatics (Renamed the tropical fish shop)? I ordered around £80 of fish which took about 7 weeks to be delivered. I did sympathise with the company at first as they claimed to have suffered a 3 day power cut. I eventually received the fish but not the same as my order. On the invoice it stated replacement fish had been added due to lack of stock and a note to say they still owed 4 fish to us. I had problems with the fish and lost half of them and some of our own. Months later I am still trying to contact them (Mus) but have had no email reply and their mobile phone number is switched off. I just wondered if anyone has had similar problems or know if the business is even still running?

Thanks Ellie, that would be a gr8 help. I have a sneaky suspision the shop has ceased trading or maybe even a home address. I can't find any other information about the place online. I think I will just have to let this one go and hope he hasn't stung anyone else!

Just had a look at the address on Google Maps and you can see the road in Street View but you can't go down it. It does look like high street/shopping area tho.

Yeah Spital Street is just outside the high street, one half of it is shops the other half more office type places.

I guess they ran it out of a office or something because there isnt a fish shop down there im 90% sure. Will have a look for you and let you know.

Its strange their website seems to be running still though

Thanks everyone. Yes I thought it was also strange that after the power cut they listed a £1 sale as well on their website, I would of thought the business would have been effected financially. Maybe it should have been listed as a closing down sale
