Danio - Swollen Belly - Updated Further Problems

Same fish, another problem *sigh*
All fish looked perfectly OK this morning when I fed them a pinch of flake for brekkie. Came back at lunchtime to do a water change and all of a sudden this little fish came "bouncing" along across the sand, flipping from side to side before ending up nose down in the corner.
She is having moments of normal swimming - but quite slow, interspersed with total flip out moments.
She can move between top and bottom of tank seemingly OK - she isn't struggling to stay down or get up.
To best describe it it's like she is very drunk, having trouble keeping balance. Sometimes side to side, sometimes nose up, sometimes nose down.

I know I've seen posts on here about this, but with search not working I can't find them right now and I can't for the life of me remember what the other diagnosis' were.
Even in her incapacitated states she is rather adept at avoiding a net, because I can't catch her to save me life - I was going to place her in a deep bowl, but haven't had any luck so far.
Any tips on how to catch fish that hide behind the plants so you can't get the net round...

Finally managed to catch her, and I think it's going to have to be "bye bye little fish" =(
She's pitching and rolling but not yawing, but she's also twitching a lot.

They can headstand and do barrel rolls with swim bladder.
Swim bladder can be caused by bad water quality, poor diet, injury, birth defect, bacterial, internal parasites.

I think it's a parasite because parasites usually cause inconvienent and bad things to fish like what you described, have you given any medication?

I medicated with Interpet no9 anti internal bacteria med. 2nd dose was Christmas day.
She actually seemed to get better on the first dose of the med (or maybe it was the peas?)
I'm a bit confused with my water stats because tetra tests are giving me 0 Ammonia, 0 NitrItes but API tests are giving me <0.2mg/l Ammonia, 0 NitrItes. I haven't been testing nitrAtes because I've been doing frequent water changes. I have noticed if I do daily or every other day water changes that the stats are the same. I've got a Fluval 405 with sponges, biomax ceramic noodles and filter wool, plenty of surface movement from the outlet.
So far all other fish are looking good, eating and swimming fine - lady chasing in the mornings, shoaling in the afternoons.

Even in a deep bowl she wasn't able to keep her balance, she was getting worse, with her sudden "flip out" moments (almost seizure like), and she'd actually flip up out of the water. Now, this might sound odd but she looked "scared" (then again I'd be scared if I kept ploughing face first into the ground). So, I felt I had to send her peacefully to the great big aquarium in the sky. RIP little fish.
Other than one instance of stringy poo, she poo'd fine. All the redness from the anal area had cleared up.
Just odd that she seemed to get better for a few days then got worse - FAST.

Fish can flip out when there dying and dart and barrel roll.
Dosn't sound good to me.
Does it look like she fitting as if so it might be kinder to end her misery.

Yes, very much like fitting, she was also breathing really heavy/fast. So I did end her misery. I couldn't watch her struggle on for however long nature was going to take. Felt it was kinder to end it quick and peaceful instead. :-(

You did the right thing never seen a fish survive yets that has fits.
Bless her R.I.P.

Fish keeping has it down sides so know how other members feel.
One of the hardiest pets I have ever kept, there's that much to learn.
Good luck with the rest.

my condolences justkia but you did the right thing

Sarah xx
