So I have my main tank a 3ft tank and under it I have space for another 3ft.

currently I have a 2ft in its place and Waited VERY patiently to buy my bits and bobs.

Got my lovely Overtank Luminare, etc...
so my hood become available for my new 3ft tank. (dimensions had to be 3ftX1ftx1ft ) as my shelving didn't allow for a 15inch high tank :(

So I had my tank waiting SAFELY in storage for about a month or so,
I drained my 2ft tank down had all preparations in place,
Bought some nice black gravel
Unwrapped the tank and to my amazement,

MASSIVE crack along the bottom and side (totally useless)
I had it delivered by some company that I can't even remember the name off now,
And I DIDN'T check it soon enough else I could complain (well I'm going to anyway if I can remember who I bought it from)

I had such a hard time finding a tank of them dimensions because it's slightly shorter than most tanks, (height wise)

So I now have to find one again

So does anyone know where I can find one of these dimensions from a decent sales place,

Preferably clear-Seal as that fits nicely into my frame I have,

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to shout into a bag

Hi there,Man that sounds like a pain in the ass man!!Can't you have the tank repaired or is it really bad? you got any pics? And if your struggling for a certain tank size then just make one!!!

at work so Cant take pictures,
I have never made a tank before. and I had alot of trouble locating the tank size I bought,
The crack is all the way through the glass and width way across :(

and I certainly don't want to buy from where I got it again

It shouldn't be *terribly* hard to repair, you can either patch it or put in a new bottom bit, depending on the size and depth of the crack.

Have a look at this for some clearseal tanks, there are quite a few places you can buy clearseal tanks online

It's not too hard to repair. Just go into any glass shop, and ask if they can replicate the broken glass to the same dimension. Then just put it in, and use silicon ;).

The Crack is width way across the bottom,
And up the side....
and the lip section up top is smashed......

Yeh, I might consider going to a glass shop to see if they repair it,
Fantastic idea.

p.s thanks for the link.
