Damaged Scales

Hey all,

I came home today to find my bala shark stuck in the eye socket of the skull. She had gotten hung up on her dorsal fin and ripped up the scales around it pretty good. i've already put in some aquarium salt to help the healing process.
should i do anymore to help her out or will she be fine, i'm still prety new to all this.

Best thing for damaged fish is fresh water, 50% water changes daily for a week. If you're dealing with a large tank a smaller hospital tank makes this much more manageable.

what size tank is the bala in??

I was wondering what ever happened to your Bala Shark? Ours too was caught in the stupid skull and is missing scales badly. He's not cut all the way thru, but looks pretty bad! Would really like to know what became of yours and what you did.
