Damaged Fin

I recently purchased 2 Blue Rams. This morning i awoke to find the female had vanished. After 10 minutes searching the tank i found her, she was trapped under a plant.
I managed to rescue her and shes swimming around fine. However her tail fin isn't open like the males and looks slightly damaged; only slightly.
Will this heal and will it open again, or will it stay damaged permanently?

Some good water changes should help the healing process. It will probably grow back in time. If you want to give it a boost with the healing you can use some melafix - but the water changes should be enough.
