i did add pure ammonia so it would read 5 ppm. and then did not add anything more until it started to drop, but it hasnt. should i be doing water changes

What did you use for a bacteria culture?

As far as I understand, Stress Zyme was used.
If that's the case, the tank will never cycle just on that
