Hi everyone,

My tank has been cycling with guppies and it's nearly completing its process (no more ammonia or nitrites, but not showing nitrates, either).

I've had three guppies. The first died (never ate), the second has camallanus, the third probably has it and surely the tank is contaminated.

Since the tank is not entirely cycled, would it be highly likely the fish would survive Lavamisole (or Panacur) treatment when large water changes are required and the tank is still slightly cycling?

My other option is euthanizing the fish when the time comes and bleaching it and starting over from scratch.

Thoughts?

I would risk using the med. Large water changes won't harm the cycle.
Once fish get really skinny the damage has been done.
