im thinking about adding it now cuz the directions just say add it not when setting up a new tank. I will add more when fish are in. It says it wont harm them.

ffg, I would like some clown loaches. do u think it would be ok to keep with discus?

Clown Loaches are pretty fast swimmers and will probably stress out your Discus.
